Our Team

Red Broad: Oasis Digital founder, president & CEO
Born at a very early age, in a galaxy far, far away...
...well actually in London England. Red grew up with a love of electronics and a passion for music. He attended technical college where he graduated with a City & Guilds in Electronics, Radio & Television. After graduating he joined a professional band and went on tour.
He founded Oasis Digital in 1997 after working for several years as a first call production mixer on many of the stages in and around Hollywood. From those years he has amassed a considerable wealth of knowledge, which has proven to be invaluable in understanding how production works.
Known to be the consummate perfectionist by his peers, he believes that a job is not worth doing unless it’s done right. When it comes to mixing he is very much a purist, with a less is more approach.
As well as being involved in every aspect of the company, and along with his recording and mixing duties, Red also acts as sound supervisor. This enables him to personally oversee and be a part of every show that comes through the door.
Red has a special passion for music-oriented shows and enjoys working on music-based projects that allow his creative mixing abilities to shine. As a musician he has worked with several notable artistes and still continues with his adventures in music production.

Jennifer Wong: Studio Manager
Jennifer takes care of the day to day running of the facility including bookings, scheduling and client liason. She also handles some of our background tech duties such as backing up sessions, installing and updating software, running dubs, digitizing and OMFI translations.
Before joining the team at Oasis Digital, Jennifer studied recording and engineering at LA Recording Workshop. After graduating, she then spent three years at RSPE Audio Solutions (www.rspe.com) where she became well versed in all the latest audio technologies including Digidesign Pro Tools and it's related systems.
Jennifer recently discovered a new talent when director Bruce W. Smith asked her to be the “voice of the peanut” for Disney Channels “ The Proud Family Movie”. “We were all hoping for an Oscar nod for her performance” said Red “but somehow it must have slipped through the cracks”.
Please contact Jennifer regarding any booking and scheduling needs or to get you’re projects FTP user name and password. She will also be happy to help answer any technical questions you may have regarding our delivery requirements such as OMFI specs and video tape formats that may not be covered within our tech pages.
Jennifer’s our one stop shop for getting it done!
Frank Nolan : Mixer
Frank originally hails from Australia, where before making the move to LA worked as production manager for a live sound and lighting company. A Job opportunity brought him to LA in 1995 where he made the transition from live sound to post sound working at Glen Larson Productions as a sound supervisor and editor.
Since then he has worked on numerous TV series, MOW's and features. Frank has some twenty years of experience working in sound and brings a wealth of experience (as well as that Aussie accent!) to Oasis Digital. He is a relatively new addition to our family of freelance mixers but we are very excited to have him on board.

Our Location
A little about our historic location...
In the heart of Hollywood, Larchmont Village is indeed an oasis, featuring a strictly regulated architecture theme dating back to the 1930’s. This coveted area is frequented by many patrons who enjoy the unique atmosphere of restaurants, sidewalk cafes, coffee shops, galleries and boutiques.
A small but charming street nestled between Melrose Avenue and Third Street, gives a small town feel to the big city. On its northern end, Larchmont is only two blocks away from Paramount Studios, while its southern end lies on the outskirts of beautiful Hancock Park. Like Main Street in any small town in America, Larchmont is full of surprises.
In just over one city block Larchmont boasts some of the most varied and best (as well as affordable) restaurants in all of Los Angeles. From upscale Thai, Greek, Japanese, Italian, and South American, to the more modest Pizza, and sandwich shops. For an after dinner desert or if you just need a caffeine fix or have a sweet tooth, there are coffee shops (Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Peets) and an ice cream parlor. Although known mainly for its restaurants, this amazing street has almost everything else that you could need.
